The UK finance minister Jeremy Hunt announced that a spring budget will be presented on March 6.
The budget will contain tax and spending plans as well as new economic and fiscal predictions for the 2024/25 financial year.
The planned budget announcement is seen as the last major chance for the British government to prepare the ground for the next general election, which must be conducted by the end of January 2025.
