The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) informed on Thursday that natural gas
inventories declined by 14 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended December 29.
Economists had anticipated
a decrease of 40 bcf.
The previous
week saw a fall of 87 bcf.
