The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Thursday that natural gas
inventories fell by 49 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended February 9. That marked the 11th straight
weekly drop in natural gas inventories.
Economists had forecast
a decrease of 67 bcf.
The previous
week recorded a fall of 75 bcf.
