ECB's vice president de Guindos: ECB policymakers don't have a pre-determined path for rates

European Central Bank vice president Luis de Guindos said on Monday that the ECB policymakers don't have a pre-determined path for rates and will make their rate decisions on a meeting-by-meeting basis and depend on incoming data. “Nobody on the Governing Council knows what’s going to happen in the coming months,” he assured.

The official also noted that the ECB's main concern is the services inflation, which remains high.

According to de Guindos, the ECB's projections show inflation will hover around 2% by the end of 2025.
