The Labor
Department announced on Friday its revised data showed the U.S. consumer price
index (CPI) rose by 0.2 per cent m-o-m in December 2023 compared to an initial
estimate of a 0.3 per cent m-o-m gain.
Meanwhile, the
core CPI, excluding volatile food and fuel costs, increased 0.3 per cent m-o-m
in December, matching the original estimate.
