The Labor
Department announced on Wednesday its revised data showed the U.S. producer price
index (PPI) dropped by 0.2 per cent m-o-m in December 2023 compared to an
initial estimate of a 0.1 per cent m-o-m fall.
Meanwhile, the
core PPI, excluding food and energy, decreased by 0.1 per cent m-o-m in December compared
to 0 in the original estimate.
