Company news: NVIDIA’s (NVDA) quarterly results strongly beat analysts’ estimates
NVIDIA (NVDA) reported Q4 FY2023 earnings of $5.16 per share (versus $0.88 per share in Q4 FY2022), strongly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $4.59 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $22.103 bln (+265.3% y/y), also strongly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $20.395 bln.
The company also issued upside guidance for Q1 FY2024, seeing revenues of $24.0 bln +/- 2%, implying $23.52-24.48 bln, versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $22.21 bln.
NVIDIA noted that accelerated computing and generative AI have hit the tipping point and demand for them is surging worldwide across companies, industries and nations.
NVDA rose to $765.55 (+13.46%) in pre-market trading.
