Company news: eBay (EBAY) quarterly results beat analysts’ estimates
eBay (EBAY) reported Q4 FY2023 earnings of $1.07 per share (versus $1.07 per share in Q4 FY2022), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.03 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $2.600 bln (+3.6% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.512 bln.
eBay also issued guidance for Q1 FY2024, seeing EPS of $1.19-$1.23 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.13 and revenues of $2.50-$2.54 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.53 bln.
In addition, the company increased its quarterly cash dividend by 8% to $0.27/share and authorized an additional $2.0 bln stock repurchase program, increasing the company's remaining stock repurchase authorization to $3.4 bln.
EBAY rose to $46.30 (+4.30%) in pre-market trading.
