Reuters reports, citing four sources, that the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies are likely to extend the existing production cuts until the end of the first quarter of 2025 at Thursday's OPEC+ meeting. The move is aimed at providing additional support to the oil market.
One source also suggested that the prospect of a longer extension was unlikely.
