The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) informed on Thursday that natural gas
inventories declined by 326 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended January 19. That marked the eighth straight
weekly fall in natural gas inventories.
Economists had predicted
a plunge of 322 bcf.
The previous
week saw a drop of 154 bcf.
