Company news: Meta Platforms' (META) quarterly results strongly beat analysts’ forecasts
Meta Platforms (META) reported Q4 FY2023 earnings of $5.33 per share (versus $3.00 per share in Q4 FY2022), strongly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $4.82 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $40.111 bln (+24.7% y/y), strongly beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $39.124 bln.
The company also issued upside guidance for Q1 FY2024, seeing revenues of $34.5-$37.0 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $33.93 bln.
In addition, Meta initiated a quarterly dividend of $0.50/share and announced a $50 bln increase to its share repurchase program.
META rose to $102.99 (+16.77%) in pre-market trading.
