Company news: DuPont (DD) reports mixed quarterly results
DuPont (DD) reported Q4 FY2023 earnings of $0.87 per share (versus $0.89 per share in Q4 FY2022), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $0.85 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $2.898 bln (-6.6% y/y), missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $2.922 bln.
The company also issued in-line guidance for FY2024, seeing EPS of $3.25-3.65 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $3.58 and revenues of $11.9-12.3 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $12.28 bln.
Additionally, DuPont announced a new share repurchase program of up to $1 bln and declared Q1 dividend of $0.38/share on its outstanding common stock, representing a 6% increase to its quarterly dividend.
DD rose to $62.50 (+2.11%) in pre-market trading.
