The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) reported on Friday that natural gas inventories declined by 93 billion cubic
feet (bcf) in the week that ended December 20. This marked the 6th straight weekly decrease in natural gas inventories.
Economists had expected a draw of 99 bcf.
The previous
week witnessed a drop of 125 bcf.
