Procter & Gamble (PG) reported Q2 FY2024 earnings of $1.84 per share (versus $1.59 per share in Q2 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.70 per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $21.441 bln (+3.2% y/y), slightly missing analysts’ consensus estimate of $21.476 bln.
The company also issued guidance for FY2024, seeing EPS of +8-9% y/y to $6.37-6.43 (up from its prior guidance of +6-9% y/y) versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $6.42 and revenues of +2-4% y/y to ~$83.65-85.29 bln (unchanged from its prior guidance) versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $84.85 bln.
PG rose to $149.17 (+0.89%) in pre-market trading.
