Company news: NIO (NIO) posts wider-than-forecast quarterly loss
NIO (NIO) reported Q4 FY2023 loss of RMB2.81 per share (versus RMB(3.07) per share in Q4 FY2022), worse than analysts’ consensus estimate of RMB(2.39) per share.
The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to RMB17.103 bln (+6.5% y/y), missing analysts’ consensus estimate of RMB18.159 bln.
The company also issued downside guidance for Q1 FY2024, seeing revenues of RMB10.5-11.1 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of RMB 15.93 bln. It added that Q1 FY2024 deliveries of vehicles are expected to be between 31,000 and 33,000 vehicles, representing a decrease of ~0.1% y/y to an increase of 6.3% y/y.
NIO fell to $5.26 (-1.31%) in pre-market trading.
