Applied Materials (AMAT) reported Q2 FY2024 earnings of $2.09 per share (versus $2.00 per share in Q2 FY2023), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.99 per share.

The company’s quarterly revenues amounted to $6.646 bln (+0.2% y/y), beating analysts’ consensus estimate of $6.537 bln.

The company also issued in-line guidance for Q3 FY2024, seeing EPS of $1.83-2.19 versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.98 and revenues of $6.25-7.05 bln versus analysts’ consensus estimate of $6.59 bln.

AMAT fell to $212.00 (-0.95%) in pre-market trading.
