The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) announced
on Thursday that natural gas
inventories rose by 13 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended August 30.
This was the third straight weekly gain in natural gas
inventories.
Economists had forecast an advance of 28 bcf.
The previous
week saw an increase of 35 bcf.
