European Central Bank Vice President Luis de Guindos said on Friday that inflation is going quite well, with data being positive.
The official also noted that an acceleration in inflation, seen in today's CPI report, was expected. However, he acknowledged that the news on the economy is less good.
De Guindos expressed confidence that inflation will continue to slow.
