The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) announced
on Thursday that natural gas inventories
dropped by 125 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended December 13. This
marked the 5th straight weekly fall in natural gas inventories.
Economists had predicted a decline of 126 bcf.
The previous
week recorded a tumble of 190 bcf.
